The new instrument panel refers to the iconic aircraft of Zlín
The ALTO NG is known as an aircraft that is pleasant to fly. The ALTO NG’s larger instrument panel enables a better arrangement of instruments and greater combinations. The glass cockpit display (which is increasingly in demand) can be placed directly in front of the pilot.
We still build aircraft equipped with classic flight and engine instruments and Trig avionics, but often they also have Garmin G5 EFIS, Garmin Aera 760 GPS and autopilot. This set-up is increasingly popular among pilots/owners, as it allows you to fly according to the route entered into the GPS and therefore does not require a full glass cockpit.
We like to install the Garmin autopilot, because it can control the balance of the plane and copes even in turbulent weather. The control panel is logically and clearly structured and enables quick synchronization of heading and altitude by tapping the rotary controls. Thanks to the IAS mode, it can maintain the selected speed during climb and descent and can relieve the pilot, for example, when flying through controlled areas.
The convenience provided by the autopilot is addictive and has long since ceased to be a privilege only for longer distances.
The development of the new dashboard took several months. With the new shape of the ALTO NG instrument panel, we thus adhere to the tradition of UL aviation in the Czech Republic.
